This classic text, HuangDi Nei Jing is the basis for much theory of our medicine and is recognized as the earliest text documented on traditional acupuncture and moxibustion theory. The Chinese are often fond of destroying everything from the predeceasing dynasty. So it is very likely that nothing documented predates this text.
